about

The Fillmores are straight from the hearts of brothers Seamus and Jack Fillmore and are joined by friends to form a miraculous 6-piece featuring jangling guitars, peppy grooves, smooth sax and dinky casio tones.

Jack says: Heart Shaped Orange is a tune that wiggles its lyrical synonyms, guitar jangle and sax hooks in the face of 21st century love only to admit the subject mostly indescribable.

Seamus says: A Bit Too Much is a big jangling rock song, inspired by the fruitful Australian rock of the 80s, and grounded in the place where we grew up, Gadubanud country on the Victorian coast. It's a (really) short exploration of how we connect to a place and landscape whilst grappling with its dark history and ongoing processes of change.
